Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011), spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then named as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's 2012 presidential election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation she would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was with the Obama administration until its conclusion.
