Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born August 19th 1965. She is an American actress and producer. Her role as the main character in TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. Sedgwick earned the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The series ended on August 13, 2012, after the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's singles (1992) The Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald, an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother was Jewish.
