The people and friends I met at Baylor have most certainly shaped and impacted my life. Karen Pope from the Art History department. My classes in my major were taught by Dr. Pope. We also traveled to Paris and Chicago in order to study the art. She made studying art enjoyable and a day does not go by without me recollecting her sayingthat "Art History is a giant puzzle, and as art historians, we constantly search for pieces to fit together." My father worked in the automotive business and I was required to work in the dealership all summer. I worked one summer as a mechanic's assistant, changing oil and brake pads.
